Our vision
Our vision is that every organization is equipped with the tools needed to effectively reach their goals. At EdFusion Strategies, we bring together the right partners, resources, and ideas to support education initiatives that work to ensure that every individual has the supports needed to achieve their postsecondary dreams. We believe that every student should complete high school with opportunities for their future and prepared for success.
Like nuclear fusion, where which two atomic nuclei are fused together to become a single, stronger one, EdFusion Strategies helps fuse the right partners and resources to help organizations reach their goals.
Our team
As a career educator, Jeremy Tatum brings 15 years of experience across the education sector, including consultation services to education-focused non-profit organizations, direct service at one of the nation's leading charter school systems and program leadership at the largest public school district in Texas.
As Director of College Success at Houston ISD, Jeremy led efforts to design and implement a comprehensive college advising program focused on equity and access to postsecondary opportunities and built a team of top educators to execute this work.
Jeremy has served as a Program Officer at Houston Endowment, a place-based funder in Houston and one of the largest foundations in Texas, where he led a portfolio of grants to support the the creation of high-quality, innovative schools and college and career readiness initiatives.
As a Senior University Strategic Consultant at Watermark, a leading education technology firm, he brings experience in cultivating partnerships with the nation's largest institutions of higher education to support assessment, accreditation, and data analytics for continuous improvement efforts.
One of Jeremy's favorite parts of his work is empowering individuals and organizations achieve their full potential through thoughtful data analysis, program design, and implementation of effective strategies.
He earned a bachelor of science degree in Social Work from Abilene Christian University and a master's in Social Work from the Graduate College of Social Work at the University of Houston. Jeremy is a Texas native and a product of Garland Independent School District. In his free time, you'll find him traveling the world, spending time with friends and family, and playing with two long-haired dachshunds.
